Back to School Tips for Intermediate Year!
School for me literally starts in 2 days when this post goes up and this year I’m going to be an intermediate! I can’t believe that this year is my last year of grade school!! Today I’m going to be giving you guys some tips for back to school. Let’s get started!
Tip 1.) Supplies
Whenever you go back to school shopping, especially for an intermediate year, you need to be very specific on the items you choose. For example, my teacher gave me a list of things that we needed to get for the school year.
Some of the items I got were a scientific calculator, pens, pencils, highlighters, a binder, a mini stapler, white out, sharpies and etc. I also have a separate pencil-case for markers and coloured pencils.
Tip 2.) Routine
As much as I don’t like waking up early in the morning or going to sleep early, I know I have to. Routine is such an important thing especially grade 8 to high school. Going to bed at 10:30 and waking up at 7:00 are the best times for me. When I wake up I plan a schedule in my head, so that I know what to do next and I’m not wasting any time.
Routine at home after school is also very important. Like when to do your homework, eat, and do other household chores as well.
Tip 3.) Studying
We’ve all done it. We’re all going to do it at some point. Studying. Not my fave but, also something we need to do. Pick a nice quiet spot like in your room or a library and study! I know it’s not the most fun thing to do but take breaks, eat, spend some time on the screen, and then get right back to it! Trust me it’s worth it when you get to hand in all of your completed work to your teacher the next day.
Tip 4.) Have fun!
There will be a lot of work, assignments, essays, and homework. But, always remember to look on the brighter side of things and you’ll get through your year just fine!
