Beginners Minecraft Guide!
Hey guys, Gabby here!
Today I’m going to be giving YOU your very own beginners Minecraft Guide! I absolutely LOVE Minecraft. I play it all the time. So, let’s get started!
Once you’ve spawned in your new world the first thing you want to do is cut down a tree. There are 3 different types of trees. Oak, birch, and spruce. Except oak is the most common. This is what the trees look like. Oak is light brown, birch is white with black lines around it and spruce is very dark brown–almost black. You can use wood for many things, for example: turning them into planks, crafting tables, sticks, beds, tools, etc. Don’t worry you’ll learn all about that later. Anyways, once you’ve cut down a few trees you can now turn them into “oak wood planks”. Make as many as you can. Then make one crafting table.
A crafting table is where you can make anything in the game if have the right materials. It’s very handy. After you made a crafting table, click on it, than make about 10 or more sticks to make your first tools! Once you have this option make a sword, pickaxe, and axe. You won’t need a shovel and hoe right away but, you can make them if you want.
You need the sword for killing animals and monsters/mobs. The pickaxe for collecting mostly cobblestone, iron, gold and diamond. The axe for making cutting down trees easier. Now that you have all the tools that you need, I’m going to explain the worst materials to the best.
The first is wood. Wood is OK for beginners, but you’ll definitely need an upgrade soon. The second is stone. Stone is a nice upgrade from wood, but still not “cutting” the slack. Hehe. Moving on. The third is gold. Gold is for sure better than stone and wood and will give some damage but still not the best. It will also break the quickest. The fourth is iron. Now, iron is the second best sword in Minecraft so you are now pretty prepared. The last sword is the best sword in Minecraft. THE DIAMOND SWORD!!!
As you can tell a diamond sword is the best sword you can get. There’s nothing better than diamond. Just like any other ingot they will wear out but not for a long time. But here’s the catch. They are quite rare, they can be found deep underground.
Here’s the next catch.
They spawn near lava sometimes even on top of lava so it’s risky. Here’s the last catch. You MUST mine it with an iron pickaxe, you can’t mine it with any other pickaxe because if you do, then it just breaks into tiny pieces I suggest you don’t go mining straight away. You HAVE TO be prepared. Alright so now you should be pretty clear on mining.
Now, you’re probably asking, “Gabby, we just going to stay up ALL night until morning?” The answer is no. If you want to avoid that problem all you need to do is save 3 blocks of oak planks and 3 blocks of wool. You can get it by killing sheep. Then go to your crafting table and make a bed! When dusk falls all you need to do is click on the bed and you’ll lay in the bed for less than 10 seconds, your eyes start to close and you wake up at dawn!
Also make sure that you have a house even if it’s made out of dirt. Your house is very important. Once you start playing Minecraft for a while your house will slowly but, surely get bigger and better. Now you know almost everything about Minecraft!
Well, not really, there are A LOT of other things like potions, mobs, mining, etc. But, for now this is going to be all…
So, do you like Minecraft?
Talk to me people, cheers m’deres!
